Workshops

  • Workshops are full-day (or two-day) classroom-style, more interactive sessions that go into great detail about specific issues within pricing. They often feature games between teams, case studies, and open-ended discussions. They are usually smaller groups of 15-40 participants, all of whom are expected to participate, and end with testing – an electronic quiz that earns participants one (or two) Certified Pricing Professional credits.

Breakouts

  • Breakouts are 45-60 minute long sessions that run sequentially in one of three tracks: pricing practitioners (those doing pricing jobs and discussing issues inherent to their companies), pricing experts (those who are consultants or academics, who discuss a broader range of issues that they have seen working in conjunction with companies), and tools & techniques (where specific tactics or strategies are discussed). They are usually larger groups of 70-150 in a lecture-style setting, but there are Questions & Answers usually. Breakouts in total cover a large range of topics, but typically do not go into the depth of workshops.

Tracks

  • Our track sessions, as defined above, are promoted throughout the conference week as a great opportunity to interact with the experts and peers within specialized sessions. The 18 breakout sessions in three tracks with insights from Pricing Practitioners, Pricing Experts, Tools & Techniques, and Sales Operations/CPQ specialists.
