PPS Staff
Kevin Mitchell
President
 
Kevin Mitchell is the President of the Professional Pricing Society. His experience includes more than 11 years in various Financial fields with Colgate-Palmolive and General Electric, undergraduate work at Duke University and graduate work at the University of Rochester.
Chris Buckingham
Director of Sponsor Relations

Chris Buckingham has over 20 years senior management experience with business-to-business software and computer hardware companies. Most recently he was President and CEO of QL2 Software. He is a frequent author and speaker on marketing issues in the high tech industry.
Katrese Phelps
Vice President of Membership

Katrese Phelps joined PPS in 2006. With more than 10 years of association management experience, Katrese’s background has successfully led departments with continuous results in membership growth and financial increases.

Prior to joining PPS, she served for 3 years as the Director of Membership for the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc. (Atlanta, GA) and was the Director of Member Services for 4 years at the Society of General Internal Medicine (Washington, DC).

Katrese holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from The George Washington University and is a member of American Society of Association Executives and the Center for Association Leadership (ASAE) and The Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE).

Julie R. Martin
Director of Certification and Education

Julie R. Martin joined the Professional Pricing Society in 2008 as the Certification Program Director. Julie has been involved with continuing education for the past 15 years both at a national association as the Education Manager and a major healthcare organization as the Training Program Leader for pediatric and family practice interns and residents.

With an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and Master’s degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (New York City), Julie offers a number of transportable skills to PPS to include planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating continuing professional development, certification and industry-related programming.

She is a member of American Society of Association Executives and the Center for Association Leadership (ASAE) and The Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE).

Fabricio J. Lopez
Vice President of Marketing

Fabricio López has over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications to diverse industries and markets in Europe, the United States and Latin America.
 
During his years in Europe, his responsibilities and accomplishments included the marketing and business development tasks for over 32 countries in Europe, Middle East & Africa. In 1996 he came to America to develop the Latin American footprint for a major UK based Software Company. During these years, Fabricio worked with large multinational corporations and partners represented in several South American countries.
 
Currently, Fabricio serves as VP of Marketing for PPS leveraging his international experience and well rounded marketing background. Fabricio is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons.

Lisa Miles-Atkins
Director of Marketing

Lisa Miles-Atkins joined PPS as the Director of Marketing in August 2010. Lisa has more than 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing, locally and internationally from a variety of industries including commercial insurance, real estate development, and wholesale distribution.
 
Prior to joining PPS, Lisa served as a Sales Consultant, marketing and selling, private residences for Cinnamon 88 in St. Michael Barbados, a real estate development company responsible for building the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort in Barbados and Grenada.
 
Lisa holds a MBA from The Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University and a Bachelors degree in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business.
 
Lisa is an active member of The National Black MBA Association in Atlanta where she serves on the Marketing and Communications Committee.
 
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, Zumba, Yoga and cooking.

Wynetta Jones
Executive Administrator

Wynetta Jones is the Membership Conference Coordinator for Professional Pricing Society. She is responsible for Membership Registration, Event Registration and Sponsorship Administration. Wynetta has over 4 years of experience in Member Services and enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Cherica Spann
Membership & Conference Manager

Cherica joined Professional Pricing Society in 2010. She has nine years of association/membership experience. She is responsible for Corporate and Individual Memberships as it relates to new memberships, renewals and member upgrades. Her duties also include serving as conference registrar and managing the PPS member database. Cherica also manages the team responsible for Individual Member renewals and the PPS’ Pricing Group on LinkedIn.

Natosha Southward
Membership & Conference Coordinator

Natosha Southward joined PPS in February 2011 as the Membership and Conference Coordinator. Prior to joining PPS, she served as an account representative in the insurance and mortgage industry. Her responsibilities include membership and conference registration, corporate memberships and assisting in managing the PPS member database.
 
Natosha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Georgia State University and she is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Public Administration at Central Michigan University that is to be completed in December 2011.
 
Natosha is also an active volunteer with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a national pancreatic cancer and advocacy organization, as an event coordinator for the Atlanta area.
 
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Darnell Shepherd
Project Coordinator

Darnell Shepherd has worked at the Professional Pricing Society for over 6 years. During his time at PPS he has worked as a membership analyst and most recently assumed the role of Project Coordinator. Darnell holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, GA. In his spare time he enjoys participating in sporting activities.
