Jennifer Daverio Brown is the European Pricing Strategy Manager for the Diabetes business unit of Medtronic, located in the European HQ in Tolochenaz, Switzerland. In her four years at Dell, she held various positions including Opex Analyst, Swiss Accounting Manager and EMEA Finance Project Manager. At Jabra (located in San Diego, CA at that time), a division of GN Netcom, she held the position of Financial Analyst where she developed a contribution margin based sales commission plan in addition to introducing customer and product line gross margin reporting.

Jennifer earned her B.S. in Finance from Metropolitan State College of Denver, where she was nominated twice for the Outstanding Student Award. After working for Standard & Poor's Compustat, she earned her Master of International Business from the University of San Diego in 1997.

James Kranzthor
Chevron

James Kranzthor is currently the Global Pricing Manager for Chevron Lubricants, based at Chevron headquarters in San Ramon, California. James and the Lubricants Pricing Team have worked with their Sales and Marketing colleagues over the last several years to develop pricing strategies, improve discount management, and balance margin and total revenue.

James joined Chevron in 1978 as a process engineer. Since that time, James has worked in many roles both in the gasoline/diesel and lubricants sides of the business, including business planning, marketing, product line management, and procurement. At the 2010 Fall PPS conference in San Francisco, several keynote speakers recommended procurement experience for pricing professionals, and James agrees that sitting “on the other side of the table” in procurement is extremely helpful training. James graduated with high honors from the University of California at Davis with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. While working in product line management and as a member of the Product Development and Management Association, James earned the PDMA certification, which is similar in scope and design to the PPS certification program. James enjoys backpacking, biking, and wine tasting.

James and his wife are very proud of their three sons, although none as yet has expressed any interest in becoming a pricing manager. James achieved the Certified Pricing Professional designation from PPS in the fall 2010.
