Dr. Reed Holden, CEO and founder of Holden Advisors and Co-Author of Pricing with Confidence: Ten Ways to Stop Leaving Money on the Table
 
A nationally known pricing expert and popular speaker, Reed Holden is founder of a leading consultancy that works with global companies to design and implement value-driven pricing strategies to increase profitability in highly competitive markets. A true industry pioneer, Reed conceived of and advocates for a process, known as the Value Discipline™.
 
Reed's latest book, Pricing with Confidence: 10 Ways to Stop Leaving Money on the Table (John Wiley & Sons, 2008), provides a practical framework and compelling examples for his presentations. Co-authored with colleague Mark Burton, the book converts a wealth of quantitative research into pragmatic ideas that provide sales, marketing, finance, and pricing leaders an action plan to outperform the competition. Reed also cowrote The Strategy and Tactics of Pricing (2nd and 3rd editions), as well as Profitable Pricing: Guidelines for Management.
 
Reed is a former CEO of Strategic Pricing Group, which grew by 85% annually during his tenure, and an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Executive Education Program. He is also a frequent keynoter for Professional Pricing Society and PriceX, and a speaker The Conference Board, SAP Sapphire, and CIO Decisions and many Fortune 500 companies. Reed also guest lectures at Boston University, Boston College, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, The Management Center of Europe and The Singapore Institute of Management.

Kevin Mitchell, President, Professional Pricing Society
 
Kevin Mitchell is the President of The Professional Pricing Society and Publisher of The Journal of Professional Pricing and The Pricing Advisor newsletter. His experience includes more than a dozen years in Management and related fields with General Electric and Colgate-Palmolive, where most recently he was Finance Manager for four national brands.
 
He has previous work experience in Publishing and Banking and holds BA degrees in Economics and English from Duke University and an MBA in Marketing from The University of Rochester.

Darren Huxol, Marketing Operations Leader, General Electric
 
Darren is the VP/Marketing Operations Leader of GE Aviation, a $20 billion organization focused on industry leadership in Aerospace Jet Engines (Commercial Business and General Aviation, Military) and Major Aircraft Systems (Electrical Management). Prior to this position, Darren served as the VP/CMO of Global P&C Reinsurance Employers Reinsurance Corporation, a $10 billion Global P&C Reinsurer, where he was promoted from VP/CMO of P&C Reinsurance, North America. He also has experience as the Chief Financial Officer for GE Nuclear Services, a $5 billion organization focused on the development and servicing of nuclear power plants. Darren has 20 years experience with GE and has a BS in Finance from Missouri State University. In his spare time, Darren enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and daughter Camille. He loves golf, deep sea fishing, tinkering with old muscle cars and vacationing at the New Jersey shore. He also enjoys reading, but can’t seem to find the time and says his house has redefined the “Money Pit”.

Ed Marx, Vice-President of Client Services, Vistaar Technologies
 
Ed is responsible for leveraging his experience as a pricing practitioner to help Vistaar fully understand client processes and implement solutions that maximize value for the client. Ed has over 18 years professional experience including 15 years in pricing roles. Prior to joining the Vistaar Team, Ed served as Vice President of Pricing, Margin and Bids for Corporate Express. At Corporate Express he had full responsibility for establishing margin and pricing processes as well as implementing pricing technology solutions. Ed also has 9+ years experience with W. W. Grainger, Inc in financial and pricing roles. Ed has a BS in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and is a CPA.
