Tim Rowlands
Edgeworth, Inc.

Tim founded Edgeworth, Inc. in 1991 as a consulting organization dedicated to helping clients communicate their value to customers. The focus in the earlier years of Edgeworth’s history was solely on execution: ensuring that the commercial organization was capable of delivering a strong value story. Over time, while the focus on implementation remained strong, it became important to add adjacent capabilities: helping clients understand their value strategy on the front end and assisting in capturing value in price on the back end.

Today’s Edgeworth attempts to put the whole package together for clients by helping them understand, sell and collect value in the marketplace. Edgeworth’s differentiators are its emphasis on the client sales team implementation capabilities and its ability to customize it to the client’s market realities. The value proposition that Tim helps his clients develop and deliver involves driving quality top line revenues, reducing costs and improving asset utilization. In turn, Edgeworth’s clients do the same for their customers, creating financial wins all around.

Tim has worked with leading value-based companies in a wide variety of industries, including FedEx, PPG Industries, Alcoa, Aventis Behring, General Electric, Harsco, Maersk Sealand, Siemens, Lowe’s Companies and US Steel.

He achieved the Certified Pricing Professional designation from the Professional Pricing Society in Spring 2009.
